Principal, OD for the People

  • Over 20 years experience as an organizer and political activist committed to social justice and change. Nationally known for coalition building among communities of color, women’s, immigrant/migrant workers and lesbian, gay, bi and trans, political movements.
  • Clinically trained and philosophically rooted in the client-centered modality of Harm Reduction Psychotherapy. Specialized expertise in the development of programming for active drug users with mental health conditions.
  • Over 20 years of administrative, program management and leadership experience. Directed and supervised HIV prevention street outreach initiatives in the cities of Boston and New York. Overseen the daily operations for drop-in centers and psych-social clubhouses. Developed programming, training curriculum, and outreach strategies geared towards marginalized communities.
  • Keynote speaker and guest lecturer at over 30 conferences, festivals, and colleges across the US, and within the Caribbean, Canada, Europe and Asia.
